WWW... Wednesday (1)

Hey! So this is my first Wednesday post... hosted by Should Be Reading!
To play along, just answer three questions:

1. What are you currently reading?
2. What did you recently finish reading?
3. What do you plan to read next?

So, my answers are:

1. What are you currently reading?

So, right now I'm reading Beautiful Dead #1: Jonas. I'm just about finished, and I think its actually pretty good! I like the plot and I'm really excited to see how everything turns out! Review coming soon! :D

2. What did you recently finish reading?

I just finished reading Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen for the second time... which should just tell you how much i love it! :D

3. What do you plan to read next?

Well, I still haven't decided, but the next book I read will either be The Help or Dark Visions... I've already read Dark Visions and it was awesome! But The Help is something new and i want to check it out before watching the movie... so still not sure but i'll know soon! :D

Along for the Ride Review

Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥
Cover: 5/5 love this cover. it's so simple yet it just... works perfectly :)

Review: This is such an amazing book! Like all other books by Sarah Dessen, Along for the Ride touches something inside and just makes you want to read more and more! It's exciting, and full of emotions that people of all ages can relate to.

I loved the stories behind the characters... how each was unique yet so real. The chemistry between Eli and Auden gave me a tingly feeling all over and I just didn't want the book to end! :p But i absolutely loved how the book turned out, so I wasn't to disappointed to reach the end. Well besides the fact that this was the most awesome book ever and i can't express enough how much i love it, there's not much else to say except that you should definitely put it at the top of your to-read list!! :D

Chasing Brooklyn Review

Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥
Cover: 4/5 Awseome cover. Love how it works for the story.

Review: You know how sometimes, it takes awhile for you to really get into a book? And yet sometimes, that first page grabs something in your book loveing heart and makes you just want to finish the whole thing in a second, but also want it to last forever? Well Chasing Brooklyn was definitely the latter. I absolutely loved it. From the very first page, I was hooked. It was scary, exciting, full of life and death, and it worked through real life struggles. It was just a great book to read all around. I also loved that Ava and Jackson (main characters from I Heart You, You Haunt Me) were in the story briefly. I thought that was really cool and it worked well with the story's pregression.

Overall, this book was amazing, from the title to the very last page. I felt like I was missing something whenever I put it down and now that I'm finished, I'm kind of disappointed its over. But I loved the ending and the choices that  Brooklyn and Nico ended up making, so I think I'll survive. :p Definitely a good book to read if you like verse novels, and stories about real life with a touch of paranormal.

Elixir Review

Rating: ♥♥♥♥
Cover: 4/5 cover is pretty cool. not sure if i like that Hilary herself is on it, not because i dont like her (i do :p), but because i just dont think an author should him or herself on their cover but other than that, very pretty and unique and works perfectly with the book!

Review: When I first heard that Hilary Duff had writeen a book, I was skeptical as to how good it would be. I know that doesn't sound very nice, but she's a singer and actress and I just wasn't sure how "author" would be her next title. However, after reading this book, all my doupts vanished! I thought Elixir was an awesome book! I found it was written a bit...simply, I guess is the word... but like I said, as a singer/actress, her debut novel was pretty good. I loved how she took the rather unoriginal idea of a love triangle and the reincarnation of one member in a relationship, and made it completely unique!

The book was full of love, excitement, adventure, and friendship! Just the kind of book I love :D It was a pleasure to read, and I actually finished the whole thing in just over a day! Great from start to finish, Elixir should definitely be next up on your to-read list! :p

Defiance Review

Rating: ♥♥♥♥
Cover: 3/5 I don't think this cover is that special. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's pretty but it's just not a 4-5 mark for me.

Review: Holy Crap! I loved this book! I loved how exciting it was the entire way through, and you wouldn't believe all the things that come to light! Especially near the end, all the real excitement startsgoing. There are some lies that get uncovered that will literally make your jaw drop! :D Also, there are some major things that happen! I was freaking out! :p If you're reading the Strange Angels series, this book is a great addition to it that answers alot of questions the previous book may have given you. Overall, this was such an awesome read full of tons of excitement and adventure that will make your toes curl! :p I absolutely cannot wait for Rapture to come out! :D

Overbite Review

Rating: ♥♥♥♥
Cover: 4/5 I love the cover. I love the dress on Meena (I think its Meena) and how she's holding "the book" (read and understand ;p)

Review: This book is the sequel to Insatiable by Meg Cabot. Although Insatiable was an amazing book, Overbite was even better! It was completely action-packed from page 1 to the end of the book! It had a great plot and some great new characters. Even though I wish there were more books in the series, Overbite was a great finale! The end made me want to cry and jump for happiness! :D Meena ended up with the guy that was right for her... still not sure if I agree or not... but it definitely worked! Amazing end to an amazing sequel! :)

Passion Review

Rating: ♥♥♥♥
Cover: 4/5 This is a great cover. Although I think I prefer the covers to Fallen adn Torment, this cover works well with the book.

Review: After reading many mixed opinions and reviews, I decided to read the Fallen series and see what I thought for myself. Well thank goodness for that because otherwise I woul;d have missed a great series! After reading Fallen and Torment, I firmly disagreed with all negative comments about these books - they were awesome!! And Passion was not a disappointment! It was just as good if not better than the previous 2 books in the series. I loved how Luce goes back in time and you get to see and experience a bunch of her past lifetimes. It was definitely very interesting! :p The book made me love Daniel even more too! After Torment, I was getting slightly iffy about him because of his and Luce's constant arguing but Passion (hence the name lol ;p) brought my mind back on track! I cannot wait for Rapture, the final book in the series to come out! Especially after such a cliffhanger ending from Passion! Congrats Lauren Kate on another outstanding book! :D

New Reviews

Hi! So i was away this past week which is why i havent posted anything new but i finished Passion and read Overbite by Meg Cabot while i was away :D im posting reviews now so check them out!

Delirium Review

Rating: ♥♥♥♥
Cover: 4/5 this cover is so wicked! i love the idea! the girl behind the words is just so unique!

Review: This book was sooo interesting! I absolutely loved the idea of love being a disease.... that was totally unique! I've read books where people are matched and things like that but Lauren DeStefano's reason for people being matched isnt something i've ever read about before or even heard hinted at. It was awesome how original it was!

The plot was absolutely toe tingling! There were some parts where I was holding my breath and my body was rung so tight I could have stood in place of teh London Bridge! Ok so maybe that's an exaggeration but seriously there were some parts where I was absolutely positive that someone was going to get caught :D When a book can do that, you know it's good!

The ending killed me!! Like I literally died a little bit inside! I was crying, and cheering and was just filled with way too many conflicting emotions :p Confused? Intrigued? Well you gotta read the book to see what I'm talking about :D

Overall, this was such a great book with amazing ideas! If you haven't read it, then i definitely recommend it! :)
